Abstract

The fabrication of a maxillary implant-supported overdenture with milled bar, metal suprastructure and without palatal coverage is described. Proper retention and stability of the prosthesis was provided by a milled bar and conventional attachments (Ceka and Swisslock). A nonpalatal-coverage design was used due to the patient¡¯s preference. The clinical and laboratory procedures for the fabrication of a milled bar, metal-reinforced maxillary implant-supported overdenture is described in this clinical report.
